This is a Pewter Quaich made by Edwin Blyde. Its an on Glass Quaich /
Spirit Measure - Holds approx 22ml of Spirits, Long Celtic Handles and
Rim with Polished finish making it the perfect friendship gift for any
occasion.
Comes in a black presentation gift box. The Quaich (Scotland's
Cup of Friendship) was for centuries, a common domestic utensil which
originated in the West Highlands of Scotland.
It was the dish from which
the Scot supped his porridge and drank his ale. The Quaich became the
traditional toasting cup of welcome in Scotland or even good wishes upon
farewell or parting.
