GM Belt Supplies began trading in 1992 supplying trouser belts, jeans belts and braces to independent menswear shops in the UK. By 1994 they were also supplying larger department stores throughout the UK with belts & braces. In 1995 GM Belt Supplies started to supply the highland wear shops in Scotland with Kilt belts and since then it has become one of the largest suppliers of highland dress in the world. They are continually extending their ranges of products. They are now one of the market leaders in highland dress.
