Winter is coming to a close, making way for the most underrated of the seasons, spring! Farmland full of baby animals, flowers in bloom, the nights become lighter and Easter! We’re fresh back from the trade fair and have brought with us some great products from some brilliant companies so we thought we’d share what we recommend for gift giving this spring!
For starters, the nights may be lighter and warmer but that won’t stop you from wanting to be cuddled up with a good book, cuppa and a fine piece! The perfect accompaniment to this is the range of Gingko Smart Lights! Brilliant wee portable lights that illuminate the darkest of places. The Smart Light comes in a variety of shapes but our favourite is the BookLight. When closed, its laser cut book shape could fool anyone but opening it reveals an open book effect, which reveals an ambient LED light shining through its “pages”.

Now for the outdoorsy adventurer type in your life we have a great little kit from Light My Fire of Sweden. We’ve all been in the great outdoors, wet and miserable, needing to get a heat in. This is where they come in! Their 3-piece set includes a magnesium alloy flint that will last for at least 3000 strikes, can be used when wet and creates a brilliant spark every time! Lastly we have Sunlover UK’s Glass Bowls on Wood. That’s exactly what it says on the tin! Recycled glass bowls blown over coffee roots creating a different looking product every time. These are ideal for the more rustic home and can be used for holding potpourri or even a cheeky sweetie!
