Jules Jules Supplier Spotlight

For the first time in a Supplier Spotlight we head just slightly south o’ the border to Northumberland. On this sunny April Wednesday, we take a look at the fabulous creations of Jules Jules!

 

Jules Jules was started back in 2005 by Jules Miller. The name itself being a play on words of Jules “Jewels”.  Much like the humble writer of this Supplier Spotlight, a career in graphics was where Jules got her start. She found a new way to express her creativity and began making and designing jewellery. From the studio, everything is hand crafted to perfection.

In 2008 Jules met Fiona and they expanded from just jewellery to their stunning glass range. Fiona sources ceramic, glass and unusual metal pieces from small artisan suppliers then designs and hand makes them into the fine products that Jules Jules are known for!

At Kilts Wi Hae, we primarily stock their large range of glass plaques and coasters. These are a truly interesting piece. These are made by fusing glasses creating colourful shapes ranging from hearts to show your love or a little house as a moving in present! When these plaques are placed on a windowsill, the sun will shine straight through and create beautiful colours in the room! They’re highly durable so should easy survive any accidental falls onto the carpet! The effect also works when you pop it in front of a candle, allowing the colours to shine day or night!

Jules Jules coasters are made from the same durable fused glass as the plaques. These come in sets of 2 and like the plaques, brighten up any room. Easy to clean, spillages aren’t a problem with these! The glassware makes for a great moving in present for a friend or relative to make a new house feel like a home.

We do love a bit of jewellery as well at Kilts Wi Hae! But currently we only stock a couple of Jules Jules beautifully artistic pieces. The dandelion wish duo! These pendants are crafted in silver with some exceptional detailing. The design comes in either a regular or heart shaped pendant making for a great piece of subtle jewellery adding a muted and subtle look to any outfit.

Jules Jules is another independent retailer that we at Kilts Wi Hae love to shine our spotlight on! While our physical shop may not be open at the moment, the fine glassware takes pride of place as one of the first products you see as you walk in the door!
