Quaich measures 13cm from handle to handle and the bowl of the quaich is approximately 3.5 inches in diameter.

Traditionally offered as a cup of welcome or farewell the word quaich derives from the Gaelic "Cuach" which means "shallow cup".

This simple cup comes with two handles or colloquially "Lugs" was originally made from wood, horn or leather and later pewter and silver.
