This beautiful pewter Scottish Love quaich has at its centre the words penned by Robert Burns, "And I Will Love Thee Still, My Dear, Till A' the seas gang dry" (And I will love you still, my dear, until all the seas go dry) from the romantic verse "A Red, Red Rose".

Traditionally crafted lead free pewter quaich made in Ayrshire, Scotland by one of the last remaining Scottish pewter mills.

Quaich measures 13cm from handle to handle and the bowl of the quaich is approximately 3.5 inches in diameter.

Traditionally offered as a cup of welcome or farewell the word quaich derives from the Gaelic "Cuach" which means "shallow cup".

This simple cup comes with two handles or colloquially "Lugs" was originally made from wood, horn or leather and later pewter and silver.

This highland greeting cup is now gaining popularity for toasting many happy occasions.
