The heraldic lion used in the Royal Standard of Scotland is said to represent the
strength of Scots and their fighting prowess in battle.

The symbol of the Lion Rampant has been associated with Scotland for centuries, and  was adopted as "the Arms of the Dominion of Scotland" in 1222 by Alexander II when it was used on his Great Seal.
The Lion Rampant is featured on the shield of the royal coat of arms of Scotland,  was used by the Scottish Kings until the Union of the Crowns in 1603.
This Wall Plaque measures 27.5cm x 19cm at its widest points.
These stone effect cast resin Celtic wall plaques feature Celtic designs which are inspired by stones carved during Scotland’s ancient Celtic past.
Each plaque is strung ready to hang, and comes with individual descriptive notes about the original stone.
The colours of these plaques are totally individual due to the hand casting process used, and give a very realistic natural stone effect.
These wall plaques are suitable for indoor and outdoor usage. The resin in which they are cast is Scottish Weather proof and will take all extremes our delightful weather throws at us.
